Allison,

The one MIND food category I don't get is seeds. What beneficial elements do they contain? And how many do you need to eat and/or how often? -/Leslie

Leslie, seeds are a great brain-healthy foods and are lumped in with nuts in the MIND approach. Seeds are fiber & mineral dense (magnesium, iron, & calcium) with plenty of heart (and brain) healthy fats.

The research recommends nuts/seeds at least 5x/week, though they are so easy to add to salads, oatmeal, and more that it is easy to include them daily.
